West Town Winterfest
December 9, 2017
West Town WinterFest rolls through the hood from noon to 6 pm offering a winter wonderland experience for families, couples and friends alike (#ShopWestTown, #WestTownWinterFest). Organized by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, WinterFest 2017 proudly boasts an array of exciting new activities along with returning favorites. This year, in addition to many of the area’s favorite independent shops interconnected via Jolly Trolley, there will be a new guided shopping tour, a pop-up holiday market, family activities, WinterFest Bucks, and a new “Naughty List” After Party.
During the day, WinterFesters are invited to use their official WinterFest Tour Guide to "Shop the Blocks" of West Town. Over 30 participating indie stores will show off their spirit, with great deals on unique items, special promotions, trunk sales, treats, holiday wares, a pop-up holiday market with handmade goods and hand-on family fun crafts along the way. WinterFesters can collect Winterfest Bucks as they shop whereas the more they spend, the more they earn. For every $40 spent at a participating retailer they will earn $20 in Winterfest Gift Certificates to be used in 2017. West Town Winterfest Holiday Shopping Guides can be picked up at any participating location.
Those who prefer to cruise in chauffeured style can hop on the West Town Winterfest Guided Jolly Trolley tour and enjoy Winterfest without the walking. The guided tour lasts three hours, features all of the same participating shopping haunts with several "Shop the Block" stops, and provides a "checked shopping bag" service so shoppers don't have to worry about gifts during the day. To cap it off, everyone who purchases a $10 Jolly Trolley ticket will automatically receive a $20 WinterFest Gift Certificate (WinterFest Bucks) to get them started.
